Dermot is a New York City-based real estate firm focused exclusively on developing, acquiring, and managing multifamily rental properties along the US eastern seaboard, with a concentration in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Since its inception, Dermot has developed or acquired more than 50 properties with a gross value of $2.5B in partnership with leading US and European institutional investors. As of July, 2022, Dermot managed a portfolio of 5,000+ apartments across New York City, Florida, and the Carolinas.
Forum led the recapitalization of the Company in 2015 associated with the buyout and retirement of its founding partner. Forum has since helped grow the Dermot platform, with the company acquiring over 11 properties since Forum’s investment.

Since its investment in 2015, Forum has helped scale the Workspace platform, including a August, 2022 acquisition of over $1.2 billion of office and flex properties from Griffin Realty Trust.

Urban Retail Properties, LLC, is a privately held commercial real estate investment and operating company headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. Formed over 40 years ago, Urban is a national leader in the third party management of retail properties, including regional malls, power centers, community centers and big box portfolios. Urban has five regional offices throughout the United States and has worked closely with more than 100 clients over the years, including pension funds, individual owners, insurance companies, special servicers,and institutional owners of mixed-use, retail and office asset classes. Forum completed a strategic investment into Urban in 2018. Forum has helped Urban launch a strategic initiative to redevelop and reposition regional malls that are no longer fit for purpose, taking direct stakes and management contracts over two large assets in the metro Atlanta and metro Miami-Dade markets.
